Is the site name Occupy Mars intended to be political? If you go to the Occupy Mars Facebook page, you'll find a very left-leaning point of view, and certainly the Occupy Wall Street movement shared that sentiment.

This site has nothing to with either one, and is entirely non-political. I got the idea from a great T-shirt I found at the Kennedy Space Center gift shop a couple years ago. Without knowing the motivation behind the folks who came up with it, I can only assume it was a slightly snarky take-off on Occupy Wall Street, suggesting we do something more challenging (and dare I say, more productive). That's what I'd like to believe, anyway.

I didn't want to use that as the domain on the off-chance the T-shirt people were the litigious sort; besides, I already owned http://www.stratofortress.net.
